INew U5W Reviews: Quality Yet Affordable

INew is a famous Chinese company that designs,develops, and sells smartphones,and other consumer electronics. Recently, iNew’s latest mobile launch is the U5W. iNew U5W was recently launched and comes with a full metal texture.This U5W boasts excellent specifications and impressive performance for its price.

Design and display

 

Unlike the normal design, one of the main highlights is a curved magnesium alloy panel on the back. It not only looks great but also helps with the grip. The special two colors mixed design of the frame captured my heart. Gray and black is perfectly mixed.

 

 

Interface

If you’ve used an iNew device before, you will feel pretty familiar with the user interface. Most importantly, everything is running smoothly most of the times and I didn’t have any lags. Pre-installed applications very few, among them – only the most necessary and useful, such as a convenient file manager, backup utility and a nice music player.

 

Hardware

5.0 inch screen is not so large but also ok for daily use. Only with IPS screen,854*480 high resolutions, this phone still gives us a very delicate and clear display.

 

As for camera, we have 5MP main camera and 2MP front camera. Unusually, U5W camera lens has five precision lens, one more than compare to the same price models, thereby image quality is better. Of course, take a picture of the text for such a camera – not a problem.

 

The back cover is removable, under it – two slots for micro-SIM cards, and one – to a micro SD card.

 

Software

If you are a fan of double-tap to wake gestures, you’re going to love this phone. INew’s Gesture Search lets you dig through your phone by drawing letters on the display. It allows you to associate custom apps and activities with each of the wake gestures you’ve set up, which will immediately be launched even with the screen off.

 In a word,this U5W is a good phone for the price despite a few shortcomings. It is a decent offering for a price if you don’t mind a few shortcomings.
